8 weeks old, no way could I lock him outside. Airedales also don't cope with being left alone (unless you want your yard to look like a moonscape). They're indoor, family pets as well as decent guard dogs.

Little bugger can learn to stop gnawing on everyone and everything next. It's not snappy biting but those razor teeth are starting to piss us off a bit Laughing

The poor 8 year old little girl is struggling with a 4.3kg thing hanging off her pants at every opportunity.

Call me a mean old bastard but corporal punishment works as long as it's not overdone.

If the kid ignores it, the dog will keep doing it. A stern NO plus a gentle swat to the head will soon teach the dog what's acceptable, provided it's accompanied by pats etc when it does good.

Gogglebox.

How did we get here, at the mouth of the entertainment abyss?

Teething? Get some balls. Rubber ones I mean, or a rubber chook! And a tap the nose, with a firm NO doesn't hurt any dog, just like a kid with a smack!

Yep, lots of chew toys but he still loves mouthing people when he gets silly. Getting better every day though, think he's realising the game where people say "no" and then walk off isn't much fun.
