Both are sort of Goth Rock in a similar vein to Nightwish. Within Temptation have a song called "what have you done" which reminds me a bit of evanessance (sic).

I picked up Within Temptation's latest album, Heart of Everything, and had a quick listen to it this morning. Not bad at all.

Yeah, "What Have You Done" does sound very much like Evanescence, but then again, I think that Evanescence is heavily influenced by European bands such as Within Temptaion, Nightwish, etc.

I wouldn't argue about the influence. Get a copy of the single version of "what have you done" rather than the album version. It rocks.

If only I had the money, they need to do a show in Hobart, I'd be at that show.

No good bands come here... Sad

Those vitamin injections are doing her a lot of favours, I wish I could have a tight arse like that when I get to her age!

Damn that makes me feel old.

I've got a copy of the Penthouse magazine somewhere that had the photo shoot she did before she became famous. They published it after her first few hits. In the 80's. Embarassed

Best you keep that Penthouse mag, you might get a few dollars for it on eBay. Twinks LOVE her & would be willing to part with their money.

Her coffee table SEX book is going for 10 times the original cost.
