Saw him live at the Essendon Town Hall in 1972, the night that Windy Hill was evacuated as there was a threat it was going to be burnt down, something to do with the fire at Vic park earlier that year.
He was absolutely great, and singing somewhere over the rainbow, and Blueberry hill with gerry summerfiled I think his name was. _________________ Kaylene.

I never saw Billy Thorpe live though during my life I don't think he did many shows, I got one of his albums, did a bit of listening to it, I must find it around here there are so many.
A lot of bands and artists don't travel to Hobart, we've had many the Australian Idol rejects (I could be nicer but nah.) I am hoping soon to get out of Tassie and goto the Big Day Out and see some bigger name acts. _________________ Ðavâgé

They are mainly into pyrotechnics as one or all of them are skilled in that area, started off in a small club in Germany. |
Indeed. I believe that the lead singer, Till, is a licenced pyrotechnician.
I love the burning suit he wears when he sings "Rammstein".

Hey, Ska; Jock etc, you ever go to a place called "the mansion" in the 80's? I usually got a lift so I'm not sure where it was but somewher between Stkilda and Sth Yarra.
Billboard in Sth Yarra was another good one. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I went to plenty of Mansions Stui! Sounds very familiar. Followed all the ska bands around at the time. No Nonsense, Strange Tenants, Loonee Tunes. Allniters, Hangovers, Leftovers (when in town). Area-7, Loin Groin etc, etc
Ask these old hoodlums either side of me. I think they might know a bit! _________________ Enjoy yourself. Its later than you think! |

Yeah, Till is, you see "Industrial Angels" the unofficial bio film on Rammstein? It has none of their music but has a story of how they formed Rammstein as well as the first club their played with the pyrotechnics.
I am still trying to find a copy of Rammstein Live Aus Berlin, DVD. _________________ Ðavâgé
