I'm into Metal (Heavy, Goth, Power, Symphonic, etc) , Industrial, a bit of Electro and Electro-Goth and especially "Neue Deutsche Härte" music.
I like (amongst others):
Rammstein, Blutengel, Fear Factory, Unheilig, Laibach, Lordi, Nightwish, Eisbrecher, Motörhead, Fozzy, Eisheilig, Kraftwerk, Xandria, Judas Priest, In Strict Confidence, Black Sabbath, Client, Tristesse de la Lune, Feindflug, Gothminister, Cephalgy.

Some of Nightwish's stuff is good, Rammstein is seriously messed up. Saw a video of them with one of the guys doing some wierd ass stuff with a dildo

Nirvana, Metallica, Rammstein, Takota, Korn, Jebediah, Nickelback, Megadeth, My Chemical Romance, Static-X, Dark New Day, U2,They Might Be Giants, Split Enz, Killswitch Engaged, Dead Kennedy's, Slipknot, Stereomud, Green Day, The Living End, Blink 182, Our Lady Peace, Zebrahead.
I like a lot more that is just a smaller list of them. |

They do that for one song, for one concert tour, and that's all that people remember them for!

Yeah, My son got given a collection of music videos on the computer and saw that one. 
What about "Within Temptation" or HIM? Too poppy???

True, although he did come into Nirvana after their first album and after Kurt had written most of the second.
But I do like the way Dave keeps the "spirit" alive in Foo Fighters and yes he is a legend

Both are sort of Goth Rock in a similar vein to Nightwish. Within Temptation have a song called "what have you done" which reminds me a bit of evanessance (sic).
