Just spent 4 days in Olinda. Very nice.
Spent one day in and around the Melbourne area. How you folks put up with living in that place is beyond me. Very happy to be back home listening to the birds sing and the absolute lack of traffic noise, sirens, drunks etc, etc.

I'm curious as to your choice of pie, @ "the pie in the sky".

You can get stabbed, mugged, killed anywhere in my opinion, but the places I definately wouldn't live in would be Broadmeadows or Reservoir. Sounds conflicting with what I just said, but my ex used to live in Reservoir for a bit: the place just always freaked me out.

I'd happily walk down the back streets of Macleod; Greensborough and Watsonia at night on my own.
