That time of year again bleet bleet bleet...
"We are not looking for handouts, we are not getting on our knees to the AFL, begging for emergency funding, we simply require what any business requires - that is, an even playing field and a fair opportunity," said Butterss.
He said when given the opportunity the Saints had filled stadiums, drawing as many as 80,000 fans to matches.
lol who brought the other 65000 fans????????????

haha!
if the St Kilda players ran out and saw 80 000 in attendance, they would think that they were at the wrong game!

Who would go to see a crap match? no-one - only the opposition team is going to turn up. Collingwood St Kilda will draw the 60000 Collingwood faithful and three St Kilda dogs. That's what the AFL business requires. No-wonder St Kilda can't handle their money if they think the AFL will do stupid things with their business" like put their team on a public holiday.
