A MAN who accidentally cut his hand off with a chainsaw put it in a fridge for two hours today until he was able to call emergency services.
An ambulance was dispatched to the mans home in Poznan Crt at Hackam West about 2pm after he telephoned for an ambulance.
No details about how the man cut off his hand is available and he was taken to the Flinders Medical Centre for emergency surgery.
