THEY ARE ruthless, enterprising and notoriously difficult to talk to.
The police are their mortal enemies, women are fair targets and a good lawyer is almost as important as a good Harley.
Meet the Hells Angels, the most established outlaw bikie gang in the world.
Their criminal activities range from drug production and trafficking to prostitution, from old-fashioned thuggery to tax evasion.
In Victoria, the Hells Angels have just three chapters, with clubhouses in Campbellfield, Fairfield and Thomastown.
It was outside a trucking company in Campbellfield last Tuesday that interstate gang member Christopher Wayne Hudson, 29, allegedly shot in the direction of police.
Six days later, the maverick Angel became a fallen Angel when he allegedly shot three people -- one fatally -- in Melbourne's CBD.
The heat brought to bear on the Hells Angels has moved them to cut him loose.
Bikie culture academic Dr Arthur Veno believes the future is bleak for Hudson, who gave himself up to police on Wednesday afternoon.
Hudson had "patched over" (defected) from the Finks to the Angels, causing a violent fracas at a kickboxing event last March.

What a load of rubbish!
Firstly woman are respected within the bikers world. But if a woman goes into the bikers world wanting to be a slut, then she will be treated as such and she better know what station she wants the train to stop at.
Secondly, in any business a good lawyer makes the business better. Ask Ed, Lindsay Fox, even Bankrupt Jack Elliot about lawyers. |
Tess, I won't argue that you know more about their world than I do, but what about when they come into a womans world uninvited istead of the woman coming into their world?
That tosser who shot those people didn't seem to be treating that girl with a lot of respect and further in the article it refers to people doing rape and murder as initiation exercises. Not a lot of respect shown in rape.

Tess i agree with you there about being treated well by them,ive also been treated well by a few fair of the guys from the Outlaws MC,whenever i go there to have a couple of drinks with them they always greet me nicely and come upto me and say gday and shake my hand and shout me the odd drink or 2,i have to say not all bikies are thugs and crims..

Theres thugs and crooks in all walks of life, I've never been treated anything but well in my dealings with em. |
..those thugs'n'criminals wouldn't dare cross you TESS, only because they know the wrath you could bare upon them.

The only ones that aren't are Ulysses.
The rest are drug runners, weapons runners, stand over merchants and just out right criminals.
Apparently Hitler was a nice guy to talk to and always entertained his guests well too.
