More far right self serving propaganda.
Love this extract.
Quote: | And of course there is Australian Council of Trade Unions president Sharan Burrow, who has been busily lobbying the International Labour Organisation for six months to
include Australia on a list of the world's worst labour regimes - ahead of truly despotic nations, such as Colombia, in which union organisers are routinely murdered.
She will no doubt be seeking support from such nations as Libya, Saudi Arabia and China, renowned for their respect of democracy and liberty, as she seeks to blackguard Australia in the eyes of the world. Nice one, Shazza.
But the reality is that Burrow, one of the most senior members of the trade union movement, is not out there representing the dwindling trade union membership, she is out there as a footsoldier for the ALP attempting to undermine the sterling reputation of the nation in a bid to smear the Howard Government.

Got to love Piers. Don't worry that the ILO has been critical of Australian industrial relations laws since 1996 because they breach conventions we voluntarily signed up for and can withdraw from at any time. Just raise straw men such as China, Columbia etc. and who would have thought that 46% of the political wing of the labour movement would have had, wait for it, A TRADE UNION BACKROUND. Back under the rock you came from Piers. |

Did you read the article? The bit about the soldiers smothering warfies in rancid butter to stop them stealing was a pisser. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Not a pretty vision it conjures is it?
Piers is great though isn't he? In the one article he's got Julia Gillard kissing Mighell who he paints as a typical potty-mouthed union thug, he's got Rudd in bed with Brian Burke and his union heavies while potting his public service record, he's slagged off the ABC and the Greens, suggested the ALP uses dodgy how to vote cards, labelled the MUA as bludgers and as corrupt, he's played the 'unions running the country' line from Combet as though it's some conspiracy about to happen if Labor win, painted unions as un-Australian because of their treatment of returning diggers, played the global conspiracy ILO card, raised the pattern bargaining fee furphy and finished off with the ALP too close to the unions line.
I'd like to see Piers smeared in rancid butter rolling around with Laurie Oakes, with Alexander downer in his fishnets refereeing. Now there's a vision... |
