I'm sure most of you couldn't give a rats arse but the cousins debarkle is a hot topic here in Perth. There's been a gradual shift in the media's attitude to him in recent times and he is all but completely forgiven and his return is eagerly anticipated by most West Aussies.
I met a man of uncanny resemblance to him in a club last night around 2am who also went by the name of Ben. He was clearly the highlight of his group of friends, seemed generally aggitated and hyperactive. I'm not sure if it was the dim light or what but his pupils seemed very dilated. Regardless of that he certainly appeared very happy drinking water.
Anyway....now back to Ben Cousins
Apparently his 1000 day alcohol and drug free period is worth in excess of 2 million dollars. I was amazed to see this guy in such a prominent Perth nightspot in the state he was in. |

In light of all that has happened, I seriously doubt that Cousins would consume anything stronger than hot chocolate now days. He simply has too much to lose. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

If this person was in fact Ben Cousins I wouldn't want to say so in this forum in fear of defamation allegations or unfriendly visits from some of his underworld collegues. I hope thats clear. |

I don't buy the whole drug free/alcohol free claims from Ben Cousins, or anyone representing him for that matter. I know people who are associated with a football club in WA, and the feedback I receive about him, and Chris Tarrant in particular isn't positive in the slightest, but I will not go into details of anything on here. I could be getting told porky pies, who knows....but it seems to be a lot of people who witness these particular thing.
Both of them act like they are 10 foot tall and bulletproof, are treated like a protected species.
Cousin's should of been given a lengthy suspension...the punishment he received wasn't good enough. _________________ Insert useless signature here -----> |

A smart person wouldn't have done it in the first place. Some people learn quickly from mistakes, some people don't. Some even have the kind of personality where it's not their fault and refuse to learn. I guess time will tell which category Cuzz falls into. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Yes cousins was out three nights in a row until 4-5am. Allegedly not drinking, but to me, doesn't matter. Drinking or not, still putting himself out there tempting fate. SILLY
I'd wipe him. But that's just my opinion _________________ "whaaa whaaaaaa! |

Troubled West Coast star Ben Cousins is on a collision course with his club once more after media reports that he was seen at a Perth nightspot at 5am in the morning.
Channel Seven has reported that the 2005 Brownlow Medallist was spotted at the Metro City nightclub last weekend, the same venue where he was questioned by police as a witness in 2005 after an underworld shooting.
Club chief executive Trevor Nisbett told the television network that Cousins was ill advised to be attending night spots at that hour of the night considering he is serving an indefinite club ban after receiving treatment for a substance abuse problem.
Nisbett said he spoke to the former skipper and told him that his actions were 'stupid', and that he would be scrutinised 'every step of the way' in his recovery.

That input matched my default category. Not many people express themselves that way. I only hear that type of response less than five percent of the time. Tell me more about your fond memories of Gavin looking up the game started at my sign and a huge smile on his face. |

The Perth nightscene is very limited especially after 1am when the pubs close. At 5am there's only 1 or 2 places you can be. I don't know how you can expect to be unnoticed if you're out that late.
Gotta laugh at the eagles...... their flying high all right!
Might be a good time for a theme song change. |

Maybe I'm just really old, but how the hell could you stay up at a night club until 5 in the morning sober/clean?? And if you went to sleep in the afternoon so you could do it, WHY?
FFS, If you want to hang out with mates and listen to music, call them around to your place.
A sober, straight person in a night club at 5am would stick out like a pork chop at a barmitsva.
I've been out til 6am before fuelled on alcohol and adrenlin, nothing more, and took 2 days to recover.
Apart from any other inferences, if you're legitimately training to get physically fit to play AFL, you don't do it by becoming nocturnal.
