Mandy

The AFL have declared this game a blockbuster game so all AFL members have had to get a ticket before the game to get entry. We got ours last week and they were selling at a reasonable rate so I'd get some pretty quick if I were you.

Also our games against Carlton and Essendon are also fully ticketed games for AFL members.

I was referring to AFL members....

I am not sure what the deal is with club members or walk ups on Thursday night. You may have to check with the club or the AFL....

Gee, it didn't take the AFL long to start stuffing people around.

Welcome to the footy season.

Ticketed event, my arse. It's just a game of footy. This "blockbuster" bullshit is just an excuse to charge people more to get in.

Can't wait for the game to start Thursday night.. but can non-members line up at the gate and purchase tickets there?

I rang the AFL today and was told "there's no way this game will sell out. There will definitely be unreserved areas available for walk ups on the night".

Begs the question.................WTF???? Why bother calling it a "ticketed event" in the first place? Oh, that's right. Money. Bastards.
