You've summed up my feelings exactly, WhyPhilWhy!!! My phone was running hot last night because all my friends and family know how much I hate Wayne Carey - I was rubbing my hands together with glee! However it must be said that I feel very sorry for Anthony Stevens (He lived a couple of doors up from me, and I used to see him and his wife quite a bit out and about and would usually smile and wave) and for Sally Carey (although why she married him in the first place I will never know!)

The thing that's confusing me though is how huge a deal this has been made out to be, when this apparently happens quite frequently in football circles (and everyday life, actually).

I do feel sorry (and I hope you do too) for the poor little kid(s), who were named after you, and have to turn up to school today (at least one that I have heard of). Especially if there is a nest of Magpies supporters there (as a child I would have shown no mercy, and not been aware of the damage I was causing, I just would have wanted the North kid to cry). To their parents, I think changing names by deed poll, costs about $200 (which is a hell of a lot cheaper than all the therapy bills that you will be up for otherwise, if you do not change their name.
