and the Magpie fans have fallen in love with each other.
He obviously appreciated our appreciation!

Out of respect can we please from this day on address him as Mr Cummings.

I liked the way Mr Cummings along with the rest of us behind the goals reminded that goal umpire for what he really is and that is a stupid imbicilic moronic piece of crap!!

We will still chant scooootttttty scottttttty at the footy but can all other correspondence be to the attention of Mr Cummings please, thank you and have a nice day.

I was extremely impressed with Cumming's leading and kicking on Sunday night. If he can play consistent football this year then he'll be a HUGE asset for the Pies. I have no doubt he'll have his share of tough games during the season like anyone else, but overall I think he's looking confident and as he and the team get to know each other's style of play - the Pies (and Cummings) will only improve.

And I thought it was fantastic to hear the cheer squad giving Cummings such a great response - you all sounded great.

After his first goal, I gave him quiet applause, and announced that he would have to kick 5 before I got too enthusiastic ... so by half time ... I was wildly clapping with the rest of the faithful.

Ok, I have to say one thing. Cummings did miss a couple of goals. I think it was in his first attempt at goal(forgive me if I am wrong) and I think he missed one later on. I am not going on the cummings bandwagon just yet but it's interesting to see most people are and that is a good thing, I only hope that if cummings doesn't kick a important goal that people don;t start bagging him, give him a go, even tho I am not a cummings fan I still won;t bag him, I'll be much happier bagging the other teams players*lol*.

Anyway, I hope we can beat those damn roos this week. Bring on the proper season
