Gee- if we do not improve our movement of the ball, our Hit Outs, First possession in the centre, and eliminating basic errors from our game we look like we will be once again be watching other teams in the finals.
McKee you're a waste of space. Josh get better soon.

Well ... I'm not sure how you can say "forget the 8".

We are currently equal top on the ladder ... with 15 other clubs. So far we have play 0 games, for 0 wins, 0 losses and 0 draws. We are still nearly a month away from our first game. And you're saying "forget the 8".

I agree ... Forget the eight. Let's just take it ... golden cliche coming up ...ONE GAME AT A TIME

If we win more than half our games, we'll make the eight. No use worrying about it now.

Sure, I agree guys
The season proper is still to begin.
What I'm trying to say is we need our talls especially in Hit Outs to do better.
I haven't given up on us yet.

well im sure if we had have WON our 3 games instead of the piss poor *effort* if you could call it that, everyone would be crowing that 'ohhh were gonna be in the finals'.
but no, now that we saw likes of the 99 team appearing its now 'one game at a time' i believe collingwood said they were taking preseason cup seriously, HA WHAT A JOKE THAT IS. those three games were pathetic thats what they were. and if anyone dares to say 'ohh we had new playes playing' well i guess no one else did hey.

its just another case of too much TALK and not enough DO.

I recon that even the boys played like a 'back yard under 8 footy team'this is only the trials and trivulations.I dont like to see it either, but I guess that MM has heaps of work to do and lets see what happens over the next month or so.
At least that arrogant mob 'the bombers' didnt win a game either.
catch you later

Well CQ, we won the first five games in a row a few years ago and that was it.
I know which end of the season I'd rather be winning at.
I think Mick actually said that they would use these games to try out players in new positions.
I do agree yesterdays game was a disappointment and didn't seem like much of an effort although I thought last week wasn't too bad.
You can't win all the time, Essendon did last year and still lost the Grand Final.

well good for essendon at least they GOT IN the finals.

and so what if they were trying out new players? what about these ones who are supposed to be so good and all that were making PATHETIC UNEXCUSABLE RIDICULOUS mistakes???

they better improve during the real season.

Although I am a bit disappointed in our efforts this wizard cup (except for the hawks game), I am not really that worried...aside from the obvious things, such as having NO forward line and NO midfield etc...I think this may be a blessing as for the first time in ages, WE ARE NOT PEAKING TOO EARLY!! Trust me this is a good thing

I have to say that to bee that negative before we've even played an important match is a bit suprising. You saw the sides Hawthorn and North fielded, Carey was the only one to come back for north (of any note) and the Hawks were just missing a few of their talls. I think we CAN say we were trialing new players and other clubs weren't!!

How many minutes did Buckley play in the middle against North? As Many as Kinnear? Ask yourself, are we trying to win with Kinnear in the middle, and Buckley on the bench?

Wait til April before you start writing off the boys.

buckley was on the bench cos he was injured. well isnt it fantastic that we are still relying on one player.

and yeah its not an 'important' match but it still doesnt look good to lose 3/3 does it now.

ha, i will tell you the 8 we will be involved in if this keeps up the 8 letters of P A T H E T I C
