Obree taken at no.1 in dec. draft

Apparently, on the afl web site there is an article saying that shane obree from brisbane is basically ours (homesick). I saw him play a few games, and he looked a very good player, a walk up start to our 18, and hes still very young. Good pickup.

Yeah, O'Bree will be a good pick up, Brisbane have fair raps on him though, and wont give him up without a fight.
I got a bit of a scare when I originally saw the article on the AFL website. The accompanying photograph is of Craig McCrae...an absolute fairy, and the last thing we need!

Does this mean that we don't get to pick up that bloke Fraser who you all seem to think will be even better than Lee Walker?

If O'Bree is picked it will be with our #1 pick in the December draft. He has not nominated for Sunday's Draft and will be uncontracted by December. Brisbane are still trying to convince him to sign another contract but he is homesick for Victoria.
