Things have been a bit full-on here the last few weeks. We buried Deb's step-sister today. She died last week after a suffering a burst aneurism in her brain 2 weeks ago, she was 32.

Now it's time to get things back to normal, so I'll start a thread in a day or two, for all those interested to work out a time to get into chat to decide how we want things to work.

Condolences to you and Deborah, Mike. A real tragedy, especially for one so young.

Thank you everybody, especially from Deb.

Jeanette's death was one of those events that makes you realise that if you don't grab it today, it may not be there tomorrow.

She was a beautiful person and a party animal. She lived life flat-out and packed more into her time than many an octogenarian has managed. I wasn't particularly close to Jeani, my role for the last couple of weeks has been support for Deb and her family during a very traumatic time. Jeanette was single and had 2 sisters and 2 step-sisters, no brothers - girls everywhere - I must have done something right to end up in that family

Burst aneurism ... 32 years old ...

That is not only unspeakably sad ... but extremely scary because it's the sort of thing that any of us could suffer at any time. Especially those of us who get a bit carried away at the footy sometimes.

I know it's a bit belated because I've only just got around to reading this thread ... but ... what can I possibly say?

... The words just don't exist to express it.
