A few off topic posts here have been moved to a 'safer' place, for future reference. Can we stick to topic and leave the slanging match at the door? Cheers.

Hmm, so a post linking to a story about a P-plater, who has been charged five times in three months for hoon driving, selling his car to his girlfriend with the hope his car wouldn't be impounded, in a thread about hoon driving, is now off-topic?

Wonder if the same treatment will be given to off-the-planet posters?

EDIT: Post in question has been re-instated, so I retract my comment.

However, I still stand by the second paragraph.

Nah, just was split with the other posts accidently. Try another conspiracy theory next time.

Another P-plater makes his mark.

If you wait for the pics to load, you'll see the p-plate in the upper right corner of the windscreen of the white car.

Reports are that he was affected by booze and/or alcohol.

When I was walking this morning and heard this story, I was absolutely shattered for those two poor fella's. Probably just doing their usual thing, and innocently pulling out to pass a truck and WHAM!

I wont speculate just yet, (not seen the news yet) but yes the kid was on P plates, and if he wasn't affected by booze or drugs or something, what the HELL was going on in his mind? Because if that was some sort of prank/fun, then im disgusted.

Their poor families and collegues. It is truely sad, very sad.

Madness, definitely a p-plater driving the white car. I think the news footage went out of it's way to show the plate.

The two blokes killed were doing something they did every day of the week - they were on their way to work. Both guys worked for Frank Costa's transport company, Costa Logistics, as forklift drivers.

The older guy had just become a dad, and the younger guy had recently become engaged.

That is just tragic. I feel so sad for their families.

A third work colleague was following behind and was the first one on the scene.

They really had no chance as both cars hit with such a force that both were fused together.

Member, until blood tests have been completed, the police can't say for certain, but they know it's one or the other, but what I meant was drugs and/or alcohol.

Besides, have you never been affected by both at the same time? I know I used to be, regularly, but I never drove when I was.

Dale, look at your original post, the part I quoted. You will see why I laughed. Look very close.

I see your reason for mirth, but I just sat through day one of the DTM School Of Proof Reading.

How would I know? Because my car would be where I left it - AT HOME!

In all the years I was a drinking and (dope) smoker, not once did I ever get pulled over because I just didn't drive. Not a difficult choice, even back then, so why people feel the need to do it now is beyond me.

You may not get caught today, or tomorrow, or next week, or next month, but sooner or later, you will get caught - hopefully.
