Final Chat - 31st January, 2002 -- 7.30pm

Hey Gang... Cobood and I were chatting on MSN and we had an idea for a send off for this forum.

How about we get together for a final chat in Nicks. So we can discuss good old times we have had on the board and in chat for us interstaters who shared many a game in the online outer. (I still get palpitations when I sit at my computer and think about the game v. Adelaide in SA last season!)

When: Thursday 31st January, 2002.
Time: 7.30 pm till the last one of us drops off, gets disconnected by their isp, their phone line melts or they have to show up for work on friday morning...

Where: Chat here on Nicks BB.

Food: Whatever you bring!
Grog: as above. Just don't go spilling it on your keyboard. LOL

Dress: Black tie. Nah, only joking, come as you are.

RSVP: Not required, in good old Collingwood fashion all are welcome. We have opened our doors to the down trodden throughout our history why would we stop now?

Damn, I'll be in Melbourne watching Bugs on Broadway so I cannot attend.

Could any Melbourne person inform me of a location of an Internet cafe near the concert hall that would be open around 10.30 10.45 on the 31st.

Hi Nick the Pie Man,

My favourite memories of this BB was definantly the Adel v Coll game at footy park last season...

I was screaming at my damn monitor - and when someone had typed up that the siren had gone b/c there was no hearing it on the radio over the cheersquad there at footy park (they were going crazy) we in the chat room were singing together. The online outer sometimes I feel took us to a part of the world we so wanted to be at but just geopraphically couldn't get there.

We were most definantly there in spirit - that I can assure you.

What great times have been had care of this BB - it will be good to have a catch up to share our favourite moments.

Hi Craig,

did some checking for you... and the closest Internet Cafe is in Flinders Street just over Elizabeth St.....

If u come down St Kilda Rd., towards the city, turn left into Flinders Street, go over Elizabeth St., and it should be on your right.....
Anyway its called Globalchat... 288 Flinders St.,
Ph: 03-9663-7899

Dont know how late they're opened but you could give them a buzz and see....

Oh well cobood and mgas,I get the message,but having never been there before I thought that I would give it a go,and no I'm not soliciting,far from it....its always handy to have a few aces up the sleeve.
Any way I am going to hang around and see what occurs,but I will probably head to the outer...see what happens.
