the police are only there doing their jobs. they may appear to be fun sheriffs at times but its usually to stop things getting out of hand BEFORE it happens. yes there are some who abuse their position but the majority are ok and only have an issue with you if you are ASKING for it.
joffa you only hate them bcos you used to get arrested like EVERY GAME, and we all know that you have been behaving yourself lately, but come on, theyre still going to be skeptical arent they now???
you know the coppers arent all bad and u can actually get along with most of them, unless of course if you are being a moron in which case they have to right to carry out their job.
before anyone bags them think about what they are doing, not just at the mcg but in general, theyre keeping our daily lives normal, if they werent there imagine the chaos. maybe you should be grateful of them not just bag them and say u hate them.

Hey fellas,if the MCG trust stopped sellin beer as well as banning it,what a pleasant night out for patrons to see the cricket.
It seems that a few 'dickheads' spoil it for the others,and the coppers are only doing their job.
Ban alchahol completely and watch the difference.Those cameras that have been installed seem to be a waste of money and time.
The coppers seem to have done a better job without them

generally, the police are not so bad. it's the security, who think they're the police, who are the a-holes. they remind me of some of the heavy handed stewards at some english premier league grounds where they toss you out for standing up!

I don't know if prohibition is the answer, maybe more control. pubs and bars operate under intoxication laws, where they can't serve drinks to people who are pissed off their heads, so surely the law also applies to the cricket and footy. also, doesn't the problem also lie with people sneaking stuff in? I mean, that's light beer they're serving. to get to such out of control situations would mean that these hoons have a) extremely low tolerance levels b) are drinking keg loads of light, or c) drinking other stuff like bundy or beam and coke, or sneaking stuff in.

And 2 years ago at a richmond game at the MCG which was utter bullshit, so please think before you next open your gobb!!!

well maybe you dont get 'arrested' but they 'take you away' dont they now. f*ck, i even saw it happen last year against richmond, and werent the richmond supporters having a laugh at your expense. like whether or not you actually do get arrested dont you think it looks bad being 'taken away' by the police? yes it does.
anyway whether its been twice or twenty times you still have a grudge against them for it.
isnt it convenient that youve been arrested TWO times on 'bullshit charges'. thats two times more than the average person who manages to behave themselves at the footy.
i dont see why im the dickhead here, i dont get arrested, and i dont have a problem with the police keeping people LIKE YOU under control.
