PTP - On King, I like what I see. A little confidence goes a long way, and I can see him being a 100+ player. As for Swan, he has had 3 seasons. He was goiod early, but has dropped off. I'd like to see him get more of a go but thats up to MM to decide.

Inspirational read.

Such shit Thompson hope he becomes a 200 game player just to prove your arrogance wrong.

Has already put on 6kg this pre-season we should make him 91kg (Clement 95kg at the same height)!!! Could be a very big year for Nick.

Good on him - he fast became a favourite of mine last season, hopefully a long career with the Pies awaits...

PS. as i've mentioned in a previous thread, i would be quite happy with him sporting the number 42 from next season onwards...

Great read that. He is starting to shove it in Thompson's face, and I hope he can continue to do so. Go Maxwell!!

Great read. Stirring stuff. Hope he really goes on with it and sticks it right up those doubters. Funny thing though, this has a similar ring to that of the Josh Mahoney story! Oh my god ! Can it be an OMEN? Will the highly polished dust collector makes its way to the Lexus Centre in 2005? One things for sure, you can bet that Maxwell will be trying his guts out.

I had already taken a shine to the lad (on field in a football sense) when I saw him play.
After reading that I like him even better !
Nick Maxwell you're a winner already !
Just keep on going and playing for the mighty Pies mate.
We're right behind you.

Is he a future captain? He is certainly throwing his name up in the lights.

Hmm, capitan material? may be not. Solid contributer wiwo yes please.
He seems to be very mature and if these reports of his increaing size are true then I think we have our selves a tank to build a future defence around. Like the look of him, the big crowds and assosiated presure dont seem to phase him.

Got to like the kid and the way he goes about it.

Remember a few Willy watchers saying -in his first year- that he had the goods but needed to bulk up.

Really did well last year, not daunted at all, good defensively and was prepared to have a go and provide some run out of defence at times.

Hammies are a worry, but if he can keep them under control, a long career in the Pies defence beckons.
