It is blatantly obvious that DTM is being shown favoritism by the mods.
His racist and derogatory post last night about the soccer should have been enough to have him banned, but he still has two yellows showing. The thread in question has been deleted, but for those that missed it, I'm sure there are a few who will fill you in on what DTM wrote.
I actually copy and pasted the thread to a document, but I'm not forwarding it on - just have it for later reference.
I just can't comprehend why he's able to get himself banned from BigFooty at least once a month (which is when he posts on Nicks), but he's still allowed to remain on here!  |

Dave may be literacy challenged at times but that isn't a reason to ban someone. He admitted in the soccer thread that he meant people from different cultures but didnt know how to express himself properly.
If you find him annoying simply ignore his posts, that's why there is an "ignore" function.

I'm a fan of Dave the Man, not that I frequent Bigfooty so I don't know what he gets up to over there.
Dale obviously has a problem with at least one of the mods here; that's not my concern but maybe it colours his judgement.
Back seat moderating seems to be prevalent again (or still).
Can we stick to discussing the pros and cons of Dave The Man...thanks...LD for bbmods |

Good call. Not a harmful bone in his body.
He's just misunderstood and not tolerated by a few ignorant posters who love following him around and hanging crap on him. There are 2 ways to feel good about yourself. Improve yourself and rise above your peers or knock others down below you. Its much easier to do the second for some people round here.
Sure he gets a bit over-excited about certain issues and posts alot, but worse things go on around here unnoticed by the mods.
I missed the soccer thread and don't frequent big footy, but I'm sure he didn't intentionally insult anybody and he's only ever abused posters who attack him first around here.
I am disappointed that a members forum of a working class footy club be so intolerant on a guy who's obviously not as fortunate as most of us in some respects. Most of us are or were the underdog once. Cut the guy some slack as people once did for you.
I vote: reinstate Dave The Man. |

Dale, I'm pretty sure the mods usually discuss a banning before deciding to do it. Yeah, it might mean it takes a little longer sometimes, but it is usually much better to make a decision after discussion. |

Dave has a disability which in part inhibits his ability to write and express himself like so called 'normal people'.
Just because he's not in a wheelchair, doesn't make his disability any less.
Would be nice if all the intollerant people here actually took 5 minutes to speak to the person privately and find out for themselves rather than castigating Da Man!
Just wish I was as perfect as all of you!
