I'm confused here ... the story refers to this person as "transexual". In that case she is actually a woman. The bash artist doesn't have a leg to stand on and the woman has committed no crime.

If "she" is just a bloke dressed up as a woman, the correct term would be "transvestite", would it not? In which case "she" is probably guilty of some sort of sex crime, but the bash artist still has no justification for the assault.

I think Tess's point is that he was a victim of false advertising (eg in that the woman had male sexual organs). Still, I don't see that as a justification for bashing someone...
