Yes, it's a tragedy. It appears he was a member of the Alice Springs Motorcycle Club and one of their members paid tribute to him.........

What a way to go..
Snakes are about here , had one the other day at my place, was outside n could hear these birds on top of my shed going off their heads, went had a look and there was this tiger snake about roof high (10 foot) trying to get into the starlings nest, couldnt believe the it climbed that high to get at them..
Anyway i hate the fokkers, but i took the dog inside and went looking for the hoe, by the time i got back the snake was on the ground with a chick hanging out of each side of its mouth..
One mighty swipe with the hoe and the snakes head parted company with the rest of its body

I do realise its illegal to kill them and normally if one was just crusing thru i wouldnt even touch it, but if they r hanging around the house as far as i am concerned they have to go....

I too have had a hoe attack my snake, didn't part the head from the body though. Phew  |
