Trade and Draft Talk Guidelines:

As the off season begins to heat up, it’s time to keep on the straight and narrow. The Trade and Draft Forum is a quality aspect of any message board, and on Nicks it is no different; people from all over the shop – Collingwood supporters, opposition onlookers and perhaps even the media – looking for the latest news and gossip. Here are the guidelines to posting in the Trade and Draft:

Don’t post trash – nonsensical posts containing one-liners, or ones which suggest a deal which will not occur, such as Chris Judd or Jonathon Brown for Brent Hall and Tristan Walker, will be deleted without notice. Similarly with state the obvious threads, or those which simply repeat what has previously been said. Quality over quantity.

Keep the threads on the one player to a minimum – you may notice that the assorted Chris Tarrant threads have been merged into one in order to help keep track and not clog up the board with ten threads on the same topic. The same will occur when it comes to other players, such as the Clokes. Before you post, think twice and check, or use the search function to see if there is already a post on the player you have in mind.

No discussion on other Collingwood/AFL related topics – leave that for General Discussion.

When naming a thread, keep it obvious, and not overly cryptic.

Whenever possible, post a link to rumored information, be it from another bulletin board, an AFL or Sportal website, or a newspaper. Similarly, give credit to the author. Whenever possible, name your source/area of information.

No Fantasy games – any of the sort can be found in the Victoria Park Tavern.

Keep it clean – you may have something against a certain player/coach/administer/poster, but it isn’t something for a public forum.

Stay on topic, stating the obvious.

Enjoy and have fun, and always check back for the latest news. If it’s football, Nicks is sure to sniff it out.
