Tess I agree that violence or discrimination towards those who are different should not be accepted, but it's not just minority groups who get treated in a hurtful manner.

This disturbing high school mentality is starting to get to me. I have to say, I have become very cynical about human nature. Hanging around guys who make spiteful comments towards girls calling them "fat" or "ugly" because they don't look like Jessica Alba, hearing the delight-filled recounts of acts of cruelty directed at some hapless loser, and the depressing realization that nobody respects you.

I think there must be some part of human nature that takes great delight in cruelty towards others. Racism and Homophobia are simply more violent expressions of this (ie picking on people because they are "different"). I wonder how many people can honestly answer no to Tess's question, "Is your mind in the darkness?"

Tess we move on and become better people for our experience.

To dwell on the past is very destructive.

We cannot control what other people do or say, but we can control our reaction to what people do or say.

I love being happy and postive, and do what I can to stay that way.

Some people may disagree with what I say and do, but I know I have a very kind heart, and am a very good person.

I have not had an easy life like most people, but I choose to remain postive and a good person.


We are in control of our own future, and mine looks very bright and happy.

Just wish the pies would come to the party as well!
