WHEN you are such a dominant team that you go through a season undefeated, the benefits are not just finishing on top of the ladder and being a hot favourite to win the flag. In the case of Williamstown in the VFL reserves competition in 2006, it also has resulted in the team dominating the league best and fairest. Not only did Willy's David Stretton win the A. Todd Medal with 17 votes, but he and his teammates polled an amazing 102 of the 108 votes. The only votes their opponents received during the 20 home-and-away rounds being two lots of two votes and two one votes.[/b]

When there are Pies listed players regularly playing in the 2nds and still not dominating then its really no surprise. Its sad the way AFL-VFL works these days - lets face it the VFL is meaningless due to the national competition and the only interest is in axing players who can't even make the willy seniors.
