Draft NOT being telecast this year

Looks like there's no draft on TV this year according to the AFL site. They may be trying for radio coverage but that doesnt look to promising given the rights haven't been settled yet.

Looks like the AFL web site will be the only way we can follow it but that will be difficult given the site crashes everytime something major happens on it.

yeah i think it might be on tv but not live.
thats bullshit, what about all the young guys waiting to find out their future now cos of the stupid tv stations theyre gonna have to wait even longer

Hang on helen...

You may still have that party. Heard Caroline Wilson on 3AW tonight saying that it may be on later...not live but.....and edited so it would only be on for an hour....

Hope its on somehow!!

According to the Daily Telegraph in Sydney the reason for the 'NO SHOW' for the draft is that Ch7 has lost the contract and Ch7,9 10 & Foxtel have no interest in it.Hey wheres Eddie when you need him.I would have thought that he could pull a few strings.
