Watch The Finals With The Qld Magpies

Come and join us and watch all the Collingwood finals games with some fellow Magpies friends at Dauth Park in Beenleigh. Dauth Park will be our main venue for watching games next year, so come down and get a feel, and there is no better time than during the finals. Dauth Park are about to go through an enormous renovation that will be ready for next years football season, which will give us a comfortable and attractive area to watch the games, as well as including low priced meals, and a children’s play area. Those that live in the immediate area can join as a member for as low as $5.50 and be able to use the free shuttle bus to get to and from the games. The train is not too far away, and the drinks are cheap.



The address is Dauth Park, Alamein Street; Beenleigh 4207, the club has tennis courts out the front. For day games we will be upstairs, for night games we will be downstairs.

Why down Beenliegh

We are using Beenleigh for a couple of reasons. Firstly the location is half way between Brisbane and Gold Coast. We have many members on the southside of Brisbane, and on the Gold Coast, so this was fair as it is half way between the two. We have tried many other venues, and it is hard to get into certain venues for different reasons. Some venues where also not suitable at all. It is also impossible to please everyone, as is proof by your message.
Dauth Park is a football club, with easy access via the freeway, instead of using an area that was out of the way and difficult to get to. They are going through major renovations, and will be kid friendly with a kids playroom next year. They also have many other advantages as well.
I have asked for input into venues from members and guests through the last year and a bit, and this was suitable for most that have replied.
