Good luck you lot that picked the winner.
I put my money on 'Maythehorsebewithyou'Admittedly it is still in the tp 10 but 5thwant good enough.
I recon that it will be interesting to see who wins the race on Saturday.
I will give it to Beasley by 2 lengths.
Any other comments on that one.

out of little johnnie and beasley, I think beasley is the lesser of the two evils, so I hope he wins. but I'll be voting for the lovely natasha stott despoja who is more beautiful and intelligent than the lot of them put together!!

beasley is the lesser of two evils because 1) he didn't introduce the GST, 2) he has promised to wipe GST off utilities 3) he didn't stuff up the tampa sea rescue affair, 4) he hasn't linked terrorism to refugees, 5) he hasn't poo pooed indonesia and has promised to work more cooperatively with them, 6) he hasn't accused refugees of throwing their kids overboard and then refusing to provide proof 7) his party is not the One Nation party in disguise, and so forth....

I agree, both are dubious because they have both played the race card in this election, but for me, beasley is preferable to little Johnny, esp since it will be either the ALP or the Libs who will win. everytime I see howard, ruddock and reith on TV, going on about how well they have handled the refugee crisis, and how their policies do not mimic the White Australia policy etc..it just makes me want to a) puke and b) punch the screen in.

I picked the winner of the Melbourne Cup!!!!!!!*s*.

Had a couple of glasses to celebrate afterwards*s*. I also picked the first and third place getters of race 6. My first time at the actual cup and came out on top!!!!!.

Now here's to the yr 2002 football season!!!!!!!!!
