So whats this i hear bout him losing 12kg?? Is this true??
Will it help do u think?
IS this just a way to make him last longer?

It's true, I heard the interview on 3AW yesterday although the
reason he lost that much weight was because he had put on a few
extra kilos since the end of the season. He has since put some
of the weight back on and will probably put on a bit more as more carbohydrates are required when you are back in training.
So don't expect him to look that much different by the start of
next season.

the hun reported that at one stage bucks was 12kg lighter but since coming back from holidays, he is now 10kg. he currently weighs about 87kg and aims to about 89-90kg playing weight at the start of the season.
the aim is to play lighter without any loss in strength. the rationale is that bucks' role in the team means that he doesn't need all that weight. his is a running game, rather than an in-and-under "engine room" type game, like voss or koutoufides, so he can afford to play a bit lighter.
the same report also said that burns is now back in full training, which is good to hear.
