Bucks, on your ctriteria of past games played and importance to the team I think you have the right ten but my dubious order would be:

1. Buckley
2. Burns
3. N.Davis
4. Fraser
5. Tarrant
6. O'bree
7. Rocca
8. Prestigiacomo
9. Lockyer
10. Molloy

I'm posting this at 3.50 pm. By 4 O'Clock my opinion will probably change!

1. Buckley
2. O'Bree
3. Licuria (how can he not be in the top 10)
4. Lockyer
5. N. Davis
6. Presti (highly underated player who's rarely if ever beaten)
7. Molloy
8. Fraser
9. Rocca
10. Tarrant

Burns would have been a definate had he played more often as the team walks much taller when he plays.

These things are, by their nature, subjective. I think the best measure is the Copeland Trophy top ten. That can be modified for circumstances of individual players - eg I would rate Scott Burns as a top 3 or 4 player even though he didn't perform that way in the yqear just gone.

I would not put Licuria at No.1 even though he won the Copeland but that effort has to get him in the top 10 and maybe top 5. If he runs a place next year you would have to consider him a top 5 player. I don't recal where Tarrant finished, but I cannot have him in top half dozen on performances. On potential maybe, but he has not done enough on a consistant basis to justify a top 5 or 6 position.

Basically I would be happy with the Copeland top 10 with Lica moved down to about 5, Bucks elevated to 1 and Burns in at about 3 or 4.

I think there will be major changes next year when Nick Davis very prominant - maybe 2 behind Bucks and Adkins and Lonnie will rate very highly. Hopefully Tarrant reaches much closer to his potential.

I think you have to signify they difference between the most important to the team and the best - Liccuria wouldn't be in my best five, but he would be in my most important five, same with Burns.

Most Important to the team:

Buckley
Burns
Molloy
Presti
Liccuria
Rocca
Richardson
Lockyer
OBree
Fraser

Rocca gets a gurnsey cause wehn he stepped up - like against Carlton first time, Fremantle last year - he was VERY good. Unfortuntely he needs more consistency to be in our best ten I reckon. Richo is VERY important to the backline, especially when Burns is injured.

BEST ten:

Buckley
OBree
Tarrant
Lockyer
N. Davis
Burns
Presti
Liccuria
Fraser
Molloy

That's a bloody good list - a bit more consistency and a bit more strength and that's a premiership core. And only one of them is over 26!

Pies for Premiers 2002, 3, 4, 5, 6....

well .......

This is probably in order of importance and relevance to the rest of the team. As in how everyone fits in with one another....
Not so much their individual talents in football skills.

1. Bucks (even though i think hes far from the most talented)
2. Tarks (His presense is felt on the field by all players i feel, our boys and the opposition)
3. Fraser( Hes our 1 ruck and and that roles integral in any team)
4. Lics (the guys style of play should be adopted by all our players)
5. Taz (We need goals kicked to win, im guessing this is our prime objective, so i reckon hes our best just ahead of davis. Our players might not feel his presence but the opposition certainly do, obvious through the close attention-probably too close-from his opponents
6. Jazy molloy..(Our forward line NEEDS him, surely this isbeen evident to u all)
7. Davis(IS versatile and good at it, 98%of the time!)
8. Obree( Wouldve put him higher xcept i feel as though the opposition has figured the guy out, bit like taz, so well see how 2002 goes for him)
9.Rocca ( Leaves davis and taz free to be freed by molloy and can look after himself not to mention help in the ruck whenever needed. Help is always needed)
10. I feel as though maybe ive forgotten someone.......oh well thats memory for you.. heres no. 10. Burnsey( if only he played more..next year maybe)

Tis all from me familia!!

1. Jarrod - really needed him.
2. Scotty - when he played for us near the end of the season, i think it really lifted the whole team.
3. Lica - trys so hard, always.
4. Nick Davis - Total gun.
5. Leon Davis - Put a bit of magic into his game, gave the team momemtum.
6. Tazza - when he plays well he plays GREAT.
7. James Clement - couldnt have done it without him great up forward or down back.
8. Bucks - just cant leave him out.
9. Lonie - A few goals here and there when we needed them most.
10. *drumroll* ....... DANNY ROACH hehehehehe
