Not sure why this person wants to join out board the day we're playing Port Adelaide.
Here's their website

Hope they are a nice poster and not just joining to cause trouble. _________________ Jacqui © Proud Pies 2003 and beyond |

Aw, come on Alf. We knew it was you. We were just waiting for PAP's first mention of lawn bowls to expose you. _________________ Donny.

I just checked out the kid's website.
Obviously young Troy spends a bit too much time stacking the shelves at Woolies and not enough time on research, because his website is riddled with historical innaccuracies, especially his so-called history of the Port Adelaide Magpies Football Club.
So, if you're reading this, Troy ... get it right, boy.
PAMFC didn't exist until PAFC est 1870 (a different club) joined the AFL. Agreed? Yes?
So ... How can they "share" the SANFL records pre-1997?
Put it this way ... in terms I'm sure you'll understand. If there is one cake sitting on the cakestand at Woolies, and then a young shelf-stacker called Troy comes along and EATs it, you no longer HAVE a CAKE sitting on the cakestand at Woolies, do you?
So ...
You can't claim the 34 pre-1997 SANFL premeirships for PAFC est 1870, and then claim them for PAMFC as well.
You're double-dipping, Troy boy. You'll get fat, mate.
A few other little points ... it was 1990, not 1989, when Port tried to join the AFL.
Russel Ebert did not commence his career during those 3 out of 4 premierships that Port won under Fos between 1962 and 1965. He started in 1968. I know because I was there.
Sturt did not become the dominant SANFL club in the late 60s by copying the Fos Williams style. They became the dominant club because Jack Oatey developed a style of play completely different to Port, skillful fast and open. I know because I saw Port lose 3 Grand Finals to Sturt in 1966, 1967 and 1968.
Anything else you'd like to know, Troy?

Oh, and for your suggestion that all Port supporters wear the prison bars jumper to the Collingwood match tonight, here's a little story for you.
When Collingwood and Port played earlier in the season at Docklands I saw a bloke wearing a prison bars jumper. I went up to him and said "Love the jumper". We got to talking and it turned out that he was a Collingwood supporter.
So stick that up your prison bar jumper.
Your sincerely
Dr Alf

HAHA!!!
Please, lead the lad forward. Let us hear from his mouth what he wishes to say before we pass judgement on the child.
