Simon Cox has been delisted by the Bulldogs. I know he has been around for a while, and has played few good games. But I think there is some merit in Collingwood picking him up with a late pick - He has size and moves pretty well. Is versatile enough to play back and forward. I know he aint a superstar but he might be able to fill a tall back position for a few years till Roach and Cloke mature.

What are your thoughts?

Sounds good to me Bucks. I like Simon Cox. He has great foot skills. I don't think he is that old either. I'm sure some people will tell me he is a dud but I think he would be a great pick up.

I think he would be the pick of the bunch (Out of the delisted group of players). I agree he has great foot skills too. Lets hope Collingwood think so and go for him.

DONT WASTE OUR TIME WE ARE BETTER OFF RE-DRAFTING TUCKEY AND TRYING HIME ACROSS C/H/B OR WORK ON A NOTHER SMALL FORWARD LIKE AARON LORD TO HELP THE BIGS BOYS AND HOLLAND AND THE DAVIS'S

For what Collingwood needs, Cox's will be of more use than re-drafting Tuckey. At least Cox's has good foot skill and is able to play in more positions. And moves alot better around the ground than Tuckey does.

And why would you want Lord? We have enough small forwards as it is. Anyway he's an over rated player who cant play for shit!

I reckon the bulldogs delisted 3 good players (Cox, Contessa, Curley) Cox is a gun! He tkaes about 8 or 9 marks per game because opposition clubs don't rate him. Like Shane Clayton.

Fradam did not write this!

I heard we were after Cox anyway. He is worth picking up I reckon. Only 26 or so, no real big injury problems. has shown he can play down back and forward. Worth a try.
