Has anyone got any tips for the Cup. i had a good time at TAB this week, picked up the Quaddie with that great win from Weasal Will in the 9th. I think Caitano and Celestial Show look like good roughie's.

I like the following :

Universal Prince all class and has always been set for the cup. Just needs a dry track

Yippyio is my favourite horse. Has Beadman on board and specifically trained for this race and has enjoyed a similar lead up to last year. Will drop 3.5kg to 54.5 and must be a great chance.

Big Pat has been improving slowly each race and will run the distance.

Sale of Century has been the horse going about its business very quietly and has been trained specifically for this race and should run a great race.

If its a very dry track Kaapstaad Way will be the smoky in the field.

They are five of my horses that will be in my trifecta

EVERYONE IS A COLLINGWOOD SUPPORTER ITS JUST THAT SOME PEOPLE ARE IN DENIAL

I must admit I wasnt thrilled with weazel wil coz my money it was on La Zagaleta that got pipped on the post. As for Melbourne Cup I haven't done the form plus we don't know the runners yet so at this stage I'm sticking with two horses that have won me money before and that is Rain Guage and Kaapstad Way.

Rain Gauge is my tip. But watch out for Persian Punch or, once the field is FINALLY decided, one of those lightway 'outside' chances toward the very bottom of the field (like from horse 18-22).

Kaapstaad way if it's dry - universal prince has a shot but I'm not convinced...

Pies for Premiers 2002, 3, 4, 5, 6....
