You can count me in even though the right leg is cactus. After my back operation and sciatic nerve hitting rock bottom.I recon that I am able to HOP around the race track on the Left Leg.
Give me the favourite and I will thrash it in even on a WET Melbourne day sorry you guys dont have wet days.

Count me in joff as TARKS AND HEART.
If the horse with the biggest heart wins IT WILL BE THE GREAT TARKS.

WAIT!

The connections of "Greg Jay" are willing to pay the special late nomination fee of one schooner to get into the field!

Just get a hammer and nails and knock on another barrier, Joffa.

FORM GUIDE TO THE BIG RACE

MR TATESON
very eratic at best take on trust failed last start at in easier field at caulfiled.

GREG J
needs to be taken on trust will storm home if the going softens.

PIESPREM
led all the way to win the eltham plate last start should be in this for a long way although stronger field here may test him.

MAGPIE 24

this bloke can stay all day won last years perth cup by 6 lengths
second run in this time may need more time.

PETERWH
sydney galloper first time around at melbourne flashed home in to finish 2nd in the sydney cup whilst being badly checked on home turn.

WHERES KENT BUTCHER

followed magpie joffa all the way home in melb cup until tiring badly connections say he is fitter for that run.

DAICOS4EVER

beautifully named horse from daicos and collingwood 4 ever, has failed at all attempts so far, the whisper around the tracks suggest this could be it.

DRALF

seasoned campaigner who comes into this with a question mark on fitness, was nobbled in last years event and scratched, trainer and connections say he is training the track down.

CAROL

bonny little filly who has a heart as big as self she has been called the lady phar lap if she leads she could cause a major upset here.

LONDON DAVO

the queen thinks he will win, won easily last start in dubai before that was unplaced in 6 starts in europe, latest betting suggests not here.

NICK THE PIEMAN

recovering from severe fetlock injury when right this horse could easily take this one, although he has been brides maid to magpie joffa several times now.

BROWN 26

stormed home in all feature cups so far this year has been screaming for the longer trip gets his chance here.

MAGS

has done nothing since finishing a credible 10th in melb cup last year he is lightly raced and not expected to trouble this lot.

HOGGY

failed at sale last start before that followed piesprem all the way home for 2nd in the eltham meets piesprem 3kgs better off here.

EDHEALEY

the only runner from the west this old timer if injury free could suprise but the track will have to be heavy and he will want to lead.

MAGPIE JOFFA

all the way caulfield cup winner did come home from the clouds to win the metropolitan and melbourne cups came third in the arlington million, last start winner by 12 lenghts in weaker field at flemington his 2 previous cox plate wins brings back memories of ' better losen up'.
