The stars of the show are actual quantum physicists with a sprinkling of actors to illustrate the theories they are trying to explain. The main actor is the deaf woman from the Seinfeld episode "the ballman" |

The lady you refer to also had a lead role in "The West Wing".
Not a continuing role, but in and out of episodes on a regular basis.

From all accounts that film was the biggest load of crap ever made. They try to say as much as possible without resolving it. I'm not biased against it because I actually wanted to see it, what with my interest in philosophy and such, but I have been told by reliable sources that this film is pretty bad. Might still watch it some time though. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Yes it would be so much easier if there was a grumpy god that craved your good deeds and rewarded you with the answers, but life is just a little more complicated than that fairy tale, and as mentioned in the movie, we are big enough and ugly enough to make our own minds up without some priest telling us what to think. Mysticism and science have fused to kill off the christian god, rest in peace you grumpy old bugger, you've kept women and the poor in chains long enough |
