Malthouse+youth+improvement+blockbusters/finals= PREMIERSHIP
this is the great equation.

I think that unfortunately 2002 will be too soon for us to win a premiership. It is possible but not likely in my opinion. We are relying soley on natural improvement of youngsters who will improve at differring rates and with naturally not be as consistant as would be required to win a flag.
2003 is a distinct possibility especially if Josh and or Richards can learn the art of ruckwork and 1 or 2 of our 2001 draftees can play a role.

How about this for a novel idea. To win a premiership you actually have to make the finals, something that we have not done since 1994. I think we should aim to try and make the finals before we start talking up ourselves

how bout, someone says this EVERY year, 'oh we'll win it this year, i have this feeling...' , and funnily enough we dont. yes i think actually making the finals would be a good start and also i think its pathetically ridiculous that we havent even been in them since 94.
