If you expect perfectly consistent moderation, you're gonna be disappointed. Part of, I suppose, an unwritten deal, in regards to posting here is you accept they way the mods do the job. You don't have to agree with it, but you presence here, in essence, means you accept it nonetheless.

Different mods will moderate in slighlty different ways. Often we have to discuss things, so it takes time, other times a mod may take pre emptive action and discuss later, damned if you do, damned if you don't. accept that it's gonna happen. Has before, will again. We try to be consistent, but it's a race that has no finish line, we'll never get there, which doesn't mean we don't keep trying.

Don't go taking this as some threat, because it isn't. If the moderation or 'style' of the board disturbs your sensibilities, fine. There's plenty cyberspace around somewhere else. There's posters here whose style personally pisses me off, but that doesn't mean they can't post here, or should be carded etc because they can't spell, or are unaware of etiquette, etc. This isn't a private house, it's flinders street station, anyone's allwoed in, and can stay provided they behave!

Possibly the only way you would get consistent moderation is via the old benevolent dictatorship we started with all those years ago. No one could, or should, have to do that. It's essentially a full time job.

Finally, let's not forget, it's the internet. There's real life is outside of here too.....

I am not sure what person would sign up just to get themself banned and come back, Robert Walls (not really) could probably not be that pathetic low-life wanker, his posts lead a lot to believe he is, the moderators really cannot prove it.

He hasn't really done anything yet to be banned if he is the same person which in my opinion he is, but that is my opinion I have today put him on ignore and can say you do see their threads just not what they have said in the threads.

I had a post removed from a thread he posted, not sure why but I'm going to just ignore him and hope he goes away. Maybe he'll get bored and go off to some other board.

The only annoying part is that most of his posts aren't anywhere near on the topic he posts in...but whatever you know I have him ignored, I suggest those who do not like him to do the same.
