If anybody is able to access (via the internet) the double page article written by John Hamilton in yesterday's herald-sun, I'd love to be able to have a copy online.

This story is about Captain Percy Herbert Cherry VC MC. One of the highest decorated soldiers in Australia. You can find his medals, together with a photo of him in the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.

My Grandfather and his father were cousins, which makes him my cousin (twice removed) and Bronwyn Large (his neice) is my 2nd Cousin 1 time removed.

So, basically, this is part of my family history. I carry the Cherry surname and am very proud of my heritage.

So, if your able to find it online, can you please send me the link.

Thanks Eunos, got all of those. Just can't seem to find the article from yesterday. I'd like to send it to my brother in the States and my brother in QLD.

And me coming from a military family and being ex military myself, Percy is something of a hero in our family.

i could try. I have a scanner, but they never turn out that great do they....oh hang on....i can now save in pdf format, so might be able to try something
