Today is R Day for me

Today I take a Voluntary Redundancy from a company I've worked for just short of 12 years.

The company is in the news a lot lately due to the American CEO and his band of Amigo's (no, there's more than 3 now)

I've lost all respect for this once proud Australian Company. And I believe I'm not the only one.

These Americans have come over here and decimated the company completely. There was an article in the Financial Review earlier this year about the CEO's background....amazingly, he's done exactly the same to this company as was outlined in all the previous companies he decimated.

I was once a Proud and Passionate employee, but over the past 12 months, that's changed dramatically and i'm glad to be leaving.

PP, I know where you're coming from. I recently got screwed over by an IT organisation I'd be working for, for quite some time. I basically got kicked up the arse and demoted after they gave redundancies to everyone in my team except for myself. They had the hide to tell me and my team that they were being laid off due to budgets etc and that they definately wouldn't be replacing them. 8 weeks later, they promote this B*tch who was an accesory to fraud in the company 12 months earlier, and she ends up taking over my original position, I got demoted then she was my new boss. I finally finished there last Wednesday and started my new job yesterday. I hate American organisations!
