After watching the game twice, I decided that Heath, Rhyce and Didak had to be left out. They were terrific, but I thought that when we were challenged Burns, Presti and Clement steadied the ship with classy, match saving possessions.

Very Stiff:
Burnsy

Stiff:
Clement
Shaw Boys

Worth a mention:
Harry
Morrison (forget what has happened in the past, he bounced back and only kicked it out on the full once Very Happy)
Fraser
Clokey
Tarrant
Rocca

Special mention:
Pendlebury and Thomas, not going to sprout off about them but i think these are the types of games we can come to expect from them, however the stats sheet doesnt do justice to what they actually did on the ground, Pendlebury 9 posseys but the 'steel' doesnt go down to that does it. Well done boys

ad4eva......you are Dead Meat in here.
Do you realise what you've done?
You've given Morrison some credit on this board.
I think there's a truck load of Nick's boys on the way to your place as we speak.

I think it was two on the full wasn't it? And a couple of handpasses went over as well!

Seriously, I thought he did ok too.
It was perhaps our most even performance of the year and the votes could have gone to just about anyone.....well......nearly....Chad excepted.

3. Fraser - we win the ruck, we win the game; massive solo effort
2. Didak - Sydney couldn't have stopped him even with a run away truck
1. Lonie - arguably the best game he's ever played; cooked Goodes goose

Thoroughly enjoyed the entire game bar those 15 minutes in the 3rd quarter when it looked like we were watching a mirror image of last year's match. These guys are in a different class, but. We got back in front and not just stayed there but emasculated them. Sydney's late "comeback" amounted to garbage time goals.

Thoroughly enjoyed also the sight of all those red and white clad "supporters'" streaming out of the ground at the 15 minute mark of the last quarter after the yellow jacket came out!
