Maybe they really have no idea where he is? Like it was much of a surprise anyway.

They never had any trouble finding him or his family before when doing dirty oil or arms deals

And I am sure now they have no trouble in finding him, I found the whole BS over the Saddam capture a bit of an overracation considering they knew he was there for at least a week before capturing him.

Now answer the question, are those 5 countries the biggest arms dealers in the world and therefore by definition the agents of mass murder?

a) I'm not sure. One would assume so, because they are probably the most powerful nations, so naturally they have more weapons to sell.
b) your connection between weapons and mass-murder is a little tenuous. For example, Israel has a large amount of weapons but for them it is necessary to have protection against the nations that surround it and want to blow it off the face of the planet. So, a country may supply another country with weapons for many reasons. I don't know all that much about arms dealing or such, so it is probably better that I (and anyone else) seek some objective information on the issue before rolling in to a fictional movie with an agenda, to get our facts.

A) I'm sure
B) Tenuous? Is it harsh language killing all those people in wars?

I guess they figured they couldn't hide the lack WMDs they'd catch Saddam and make a big deal about it. Someone should have told them not to include the words they were watching him for a week before jumping him.

Maybe they won't find Osama because they need someone to sell their weapons to? Or something, I guess there are many reasons why they won't just bring him "to justice"

nah I reckon if they could find Osama they would, imagine what a publicity boost it would be for the American forces, it would certainly make it look more like they have achieved something in the last few years. Lol and there is probably no shortage of people willing to buy weapons at the moment.

Guys i wish i could post the whole article up here but i only have it in pdf form and so anyone who wants it can email me, but here is an abstract of an article by Philippe Errera which talks about how futile it is to target individual members of al Qaeda.

Seriously, i am willing to email this to anyone and everyone who wants it, it is written pretty clearly and i am happy to try to explain anything that is a bit unclear. It's just so important people get some information from the academic world instead of the bullshit media with their corporate agendas. Terrorism has been my field of study for the last 2 semesters and i have just grown more and more angry with how policymakers have tried to manage the threat.

Three circles of threat - Philippe Errera

Abstract:
The main objective of al-Qaeda and other global jihadists is to federate while decentralising, and to place an ideology that was once marginal in the heart of the Muslim and Arab world. Our main objective must be to divide and marginalise; but this is also our main difficulty, because many of our actions have had the opposite result. This is particularly true of the Bush administration's ‘global war on terror’. Some European policies have also inadvertently reinforced Bin Laden's claim to represent all Muslim grievances. To be effective, our policies must deal in a differentiated manner with three different circles: al-Qaeda in its 11 September incarnation; terrorist movements which, though permeable to global Islamist ideology, nevertheless have local objectives and roots; all those in the Muslim and Arab world who may feel increasingly attracted to jihadist ideology and feel compelled to transform their discontent into action.
