syd tickets sold out.

boxing day 50,000 were sold by 11am

This is absolutely ridiculous. We had to register to become part of the Cricket Australia Family. We got our registrations, they knew how many members there were in this family. All members were able to buy 8 tickets each, SO WTF WASN'T THE INFRASTRUCTURE PUT IN PLACE FOR IT!!!!

Because it was unprecedented in scale in the history of events in Australia (for first day sales).

No Joel, they should have anticipated this based on the number of members who joined up.

Those that they continued to email weekly in relation to getting the tickets.

So they spend thousands on infrastructure they will only need for one or two events? Perhaps they probably could have upped it a little, but I'm not sure it would have helped.
