I'm not confident science will ever find the Collingwood gene, the expression "It's in the blood" is more a spiritual concept than a scientific fact

Good luck Tess. It sounds like an interesting study and if they do find what they are looking for then I'm sure a lot of people will benefit in the future.
As for having your DNA on public record you are quite right to be worried. No one can guarantee that in the future this will not be used against you in some way. At the moment there are people out there "designing" disease to attack specific genetic profiles.
The future is a frightening place. |
