I'm sorry if that offends you spidergirl.....but I just can't see the logic in recruiting him.....besides he's too injury prone and that's just what we need....paying another "big name" from another club a load of money for him to spend half or all of the saeason injured....This not a good idea...He is 27yo now and his body is breaking down...ask any Essendon supporter about Joe and they will say "S L O W"!!!!

OH....you have the beef about Rick....my bad....didn't read it properly.....and your still gonna hate me....but let me ask you one question....What did Rick ever do to benefit our club while he was there??? NOTHING!!! Sure he may be cute (in some ppl's opinion), sure he may have been a fantastic bloke.......but what's that got to do with Collingwood being successful? This is about COLLINGWOOD and future success for our club....not a dig at Rick or Joe personally...it's all about football!

dont be silly.
joe misiti is the best midfielder in the draft. this is sensational news...or equal best with black and kane johnson
did you see the preliminary final magpira?? joe had a top game. he had a top year.
hes a quality player, with experience, and knows what its like to be in a premiership side.
im glad hes a magpie!

Sorry pies premiers....all I remember about the prelim final is Darren Goldspink! I would prefer Black or Johnston...at least have a few more years left in them! Besides Joe Misiti alone is not going to win us a flag!

nor will black or johnson!
he is a quality midfielder. if we were to say no, it would be like the lockett decision.
worth the risk in my opinion. we are only losing scotland. (by the looks of it)

Well I think if we get Misiti it will be fatastic. I dont care who we trade for him as long as its not Buckley, N Davis, Tarrant or Fraser. Misiti is one of the best players going round. Yes he's slow and a little tubby but that doesnt matter coz he knows how to get the footy and a lot of it. He'll be 27 in November so you'd think we'd get 5 years out of him.

Misiti would be great for oue club. He would hooefully add leadership to the club and give Obvree the help he requires in midfield

LOL!!
I didn't say Black or Johnson would win us a flag~! You said Misiti is the best midfielder going round (trade wise)! Besides...don't we need a ruckman and a CHB more so than more onballers?

I believe we're one good player short in the ruck, midfield and backline. The forward line to me looks pretty good and very dangerous but the other areas need work.
