I thought Clement was actually just about best on ground. But Swan's last quarter, along with Rocca's match push him down

I wouldve thought

3. Rocca
2. Clement
1. Swan

Clement held the defence by himself, and beat whoever played on him.

Dave, Clement was quiet for his standards. Made a couple of clangers there at some stage too. I thought Heater was more effective last night.

But, Jimmy will bounce back strongly next week. Bookmark it!

1. Shaw

Good game by Didak, Davis and Tarrant as well.

Also, id like to single Lonie out for some commendation as well.

I thought during the 3rd qtr, our defence was slipping a bit, but i thought Lonie stepped up a big with some quality defensive body-work after that early in the 4th.

suppose thats what makes a thread like this quality, because every person see's the game differently and you get a lot of perspectives. I actually thought Clement held up very well, but ah well, a bit of debate aint going to hurt no one.

Id also like to commed Lonie. ALthough it is not a vote worthy sort of game...his job on Brad Johnson was quality. He was put in a situation that he was not comfortable in and would really not like playing, but he fought hard, made a lot of great tackles and held jonno to only 1 goal. Just goes to show that the agonising years of seeing Lonie play in the defense is starting to pay off, he is now one of the most versatile players on our list.

3 Didak. Just such an explosive game, hurt them every time he had it.
2 Rocca. Ditto. Had it less often, but made most of opportunities.
1 Swan. A genuine big occasion player, stands taller the longer it goes.

Heath Shaw set up countless attacks with his rebound while O'Bree and Licuria were tireless in the middle. Davis BOG first half, but faded later.

3. Alan Didak - someone stop him!
2. Dane Swan - only played 62% of the game and still managed 29 touches and 3 goals
1.Tarrant - 4 Goals, but his marks up the ground are invaluable to the team going forward
Next in line:
Anthony Rocca - 5 majors, just so intimidating out there. Such a leader of the club.
Tarkyn Lockyer - 20 possies, held Robbins to just 1, swept up all night long.
Paul Licuria - 35 possies, back to the Paul Licuria of old
Shane O'Bree - 31 touches, another solid game from OB

3. Rocca (forward line general - was there all day, doing his job and well)
2. Swan (probably biggest impact player in afl ATM [wow!!!])
1. Davis. (if it wasn't for his first half we wouldn't have been in the position to win like we did)

licca, heater, taz (great 150th), o'bree, and especially didak - the most spectacular and regularly valuable forward line player

Btw johnno, have u decided which way you are going to do this yet , still think counting up all the votes for the round then giving them as a 3,2,1 for for the 3 highest is the way to go ..

Your call i guess though
