With all this talk about us getting, or going after Croad, maybe we can't see the forest for the trees.

If we could get another top line on-baller, like Scott West, the that could release Buckley onto the forward line, say at CHF. being 29 now, he isn't the absolute dominant player for 22 rounds like he was a few years ago. Also, how hard would he be to match up on. The smaller defenders would not be strong enough to out mark him, or body him out of a contest, and the bigger defenders couldn't keep up with him for pace and stamina.

He could just about be the best key position player in the league for the next few years, and may just extend his career a few years, with less toll on his body.

I just think that we have about the perfect footballer, but we need to look at where he can be best used at the age of 29. Maybe all this talk about getting Croad has taken the focus away from the absolute champion that we already have. Put a quality midfielder into our side, along with O'bree, Tarkyn, Chad, Chipper, and of course Didak, Holland, Davis & Davis, and anyone else that I can think of, and Bucks in the forward line, and Oh boy, do we look good.
