Post subject: my bookie must read this board. | |
|
I asked my bookie if hes ready to take my usual $10 on carlton for next years spoon and he said if i make it $20 he,ll give me 100/1.
So 20 it is.
the thought of the demise of the blooooooos and 2000 as a bonus will get me thru the summer nicely.
By the way does anyone here know how to let me keep a site down below to use later without it disappering when i open another site.
if you know what i mean.
im a bit of a computer duffer as a lot of us older blokes are,and i have all the sites on desktop and when i read one and click minus to keep for later and go to desktop to open another the one i have down below disappears.
pisses me off a tad and i have to use up too many megs to get it back again later.
bring on the cricket, its just not footy without the pies in it.

100 to 1 - nope, I reckon with the condition that Freo and the Saints are in I'd need 500 to 1 - but I understand the need for the bet
When you click on a link to go to a new site, use your right mouse button and then choose 'Open in New Window' and a new browser window will open leaving your old one alone. If you want to type a new url: go to File on the menu and choose "New' and then 'Window' and you'll get a second window to use for the new site.

I've been working with computers since I was a teenager. Built my first PC in 1976 (still got it), 5 years before IBM.

By my calculations, anyone who's been building computers since 1976 should be multi-trillionaire by now.
So, Mike ... could you possibly spare a couple of million bucks for a fellow Collingwood supporter who's down on his luck?

I'll happily give you everything I have Alf, but I suggest you bone up on debt management before we make the transfer.
Unfortunately I am disabled, I was born without the ability to turn my immense talents into wealth.

Alas. I think I have the same disability, Mike. How can a person so overflowing with sheer genius as myself be so fiscally challenged.
