If g spot train had kicked straight after probably the softest free kick in history after the siren we would have lost. Malthouse would be under scrutiny yet again.
In 2004 and 2005 hurt, we had the capability but not the on field personal to at least make the 8. This week with some valuable talls back we looked better and if we play directly anything is possible this year.
If as some suggest this may be Micks' last year i hope his talents are not wasted. Get him into a political party, and watch him become our next Prime Minister! (listen bushy the ox is patient...)
I'd vote for Mick!!!! _________________ In HAL we trust! |

Thunderbirds are GO!!!
We now take a short break from the footy to bring your some political dribble...
What a strange bunch of people Aussies are. Jack boot Jeff was a political laughing stock, three times rejected at the Victorian polls, then we let him in and couldn't get him out. Honest John, Australia's worst treasurer, left foaming at the mouth twice and catergorically stating that "There will never be a GST"...next thing you know he is knocking on the record books as lone of the longest serving Prime Ministers.
Your right David, he is rightly our PM, because Australia deserve it for being politically apathetic.
Now back to the footy... _________________ "MAKE COLLINGWOOD GRATE AGAIN"

The fickle fortunes of footy. Such is life for an AFL coach.
As the book says - Perform or else. |

Ditto.
However, I did hear Billy Connolly say recently that the only worthwhile thing about rotten Johnny Howard was that looking at him enabled us to know what Harry Potter is going to look like when he's 60. |

lol... calm down guys... don't take things so seriously.
If you want to complain about Howard, start a new topic in the VPT enitled 'bitching about John Howard' and complain away to your heart's content!
Jamie, I hope we do play finals, although I'm not sure what we can take from one game, let alone a pre-season game. Still, I agree things are looking good. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

He is also a huge pies fan, unlike his pasty lip sucking impersonator in canberra. |

Some of the replies to MM for PM have got me thinking..as versatile an actor he is, (was he in Seachange?) any red blooded pie supproter would
remember his role in 'The Club'
Can anyone help with his famous quote about seagulls when Jack Thompson fronted him in the change rooms?
There were many other classic lines including one about his legless sister, anyone else remember any?
