On the weekend I got to go down and meet one of the founders of the new S.A Magpies supporters group, Marty, and check out the venue where we will be watching all of the Pies games this season, the Glenelg Jetty Hotel.

All I can say is that Marty and Mick have done a sensational job in setting this up for all of us South Australian Pies supporters. They have everything covered from entertainment for the kids up to our own personal bar for the adults. The Glenelg Jetty Hotel is the perfect place to get the group up and running, with friendly staff and a great atmosphere, and that’s even when the footy isn’t on.

So I urge all Pies supporters out there living in S.A to get on down there for the first game of the NAB cup on the 26th of Feb versus the Saints (from 2:00 pm, game starts at 4:00pm) and sign up to be a member of what will be one of the best supporter groups going round.
